“It took 2 years – and a first acclaimed EP – for Basement Revolver to release Heavy Eyes. Supported by two singles Johnny et Words released in 2016, the Canadian trio is conjugating in the plural form 90’s infused indie rock and delicately sweet pop music plus adding the complexity of the recent Knocking, on which Chrisy Hurn’s asthenic tessitura lay down on a hushed drum beat.
