Captured on camera and in superior audio during their rst year of existence, Colosseum must have made a great impression at Montreux in 1969. Having played there on 1 January for the Rose d’Or TV Festival, broadcast the following April, they were invited back for the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival the same year. Using the ocial Swiss TV archives’ footage and audio, remastered in its original form for the rst time, this CD and DVD set shows the rst line-up of the band at its nest, including a poolside scene performance, which culminated in a topless Dick Heckstall-Smith diving in to cool down!
